Does your child tell you about "helpers" at school? We have 4 jobs, and students rotate daily. With 15/16 students, everyone has a job once every 4 days. It's very exciting when your bird is on a job nest!
Bell Ringer: When play time is done, the Bell Ringer rings the bell to signal everyone clean-up. Cleaning up is still a work-in-progress!
Line Leader: Leads the line when we go to the "big bathrooms," to the playground, or to the bus. The Line Leader also washes their hands first before snack time.
Weather Helper: During circle time, the weather helper goes down the hall to look outside (no windows in our classroom!) and see what the weather is for the current day. They come back and turn the arrows on our weather chart to point to today's weather.
Calendar Helper: Uses a pointer to point to the numbers on the calendar, and sticks today's date on the calendar.
